Morning all,

I hope that you are well. Did you have a nice weekend?

Just a quick blog to let you know some of the highlights from the weekend...

The two white fronted geese were showing well still, a barnacle goose appeared as well on Saturday and was showing nicely all weekend.

There were lots of waders around - with the high tide the waders and ducks have been pushed off the foreshore and onto the reserve. Curlew, golden plover, dunlin, snipe, and lapwing were some of the stars - with redshank and spotted redshank were showing well on Aveley Bay.

The barn owl was sitiing in the box, marsh harrier over the reserve and fabulous views of two peregrines...

The rock and water pipits were showing nicely all along the foreshore section of the reserve.

The other highlights were the really high tides, and lots of visitors rocking wellies! There's still puddles onsite so watch out!

I hope you enjoyed your weekend! See you soon!
