Would like to say that I have been relaxing at home on my days off but it never quite works out like that...

Anyway some birdy updates for you all:

3rd January: Lesser Spotted Woodpecker (a real site rarity) 29 Waxwings flew through, Brambling, Marsh Harrier, Song Thrush, Green Woodpecker, Meadow Pipit, 3 Golden Plover, Cettis Warbler, 5 Pintail, Peregrine, Great Crested Grebe, Water Pipit, 2 Ringed Plover, Chiffchaff, 5 Snipe 4 Rock Pipit, 3 Kestrel, Sparrowhawk, 9 Redwing, 18 Linnet, 5 Water Rail, 3 Avocet, 4 Rock Pipit, 11 Snipe, 8 Pintail, 3 Stonechat, Peregrine, 5 Bearded Tit, 12 Fieldfare, 160 Dunlin, 4 Grey Plover.

4th January: Marsh Harrier, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker seen again. 36 Ring-necked Parakeets, Black-tailed Godwit, m Blackcap, Sparrowhawk, 2 Brambling, 19 Waxwings through, 6 Pintail, Tree Sparrow, adult & 1st winter Caspian Gull

I just hope that I can find that woodpecker when I get back to work tomorrow!
