Beautiful things are possible. We can protect this life we love from climate change, if enough of us show we care.

This February, thousands of people across the UK are turning hearts green with the Climate Coalition to #showthelove for the people, places and life we want to protect for generations to come.

The changes needed to protect our world have begun. We can have 100% clean energy within a generation – but it needs us to show our love to make it happen.

We know that climate change is already impacting the wildlife and wild places we all work so hard every day to protect and restore. And climate change doesn't stop there. From coastal and floodplain communities to tiny islands in the Pacific; from our food chains to our economy; and from our families to our global neighbours — directly or indirectly, climate change could affect everything about life as we know it.

We can have the future we wish for though. Whether it is for our wildlife and wild places, or for your friends, family or favourite food, please show your love by watching I wish for you... and adding your name in support.

Why will watching a film help? Because beautiful things can happen if enough of us show we care. The more views and shares and names added, the more we can show politicians and decision-makers how many people want them to deliver real action on climate change.

Watch and share

‘War Horse’ author Michael Morpurgo and actors Jeremy Irons and Maxine Peake have joined forces to make a powerful new 5 minute film especially for you.

Will you share the promise and help protect all we love?

What can we do?

Hand made hearts can move worlds.

Make, wear and share your green heart in the run-up to this Valentine’s Day. It’s a beautiful way to begin a conversation about the things we love that climate change threatens, and the clean energy choices we must make to protect our world.

Hand-crafting a heart is a moment to share with a loved one, with family, with friends, with your community – and beyond via #showthelove
