We seem to have lost the 'es' from Marsh.  It is still pretty gloomy out there but it looks ever so slightly wetter out their than it was on Monday evening. All the water has joined up....

The trails should all be ok though...

More to come later but suffice to say I think that all the local rainfall over Christmas has found its way onto the reserve. The sluice gates are fully open on the Mar Dyke and gazillions of gallons of murky fresh water are pouring into the Thames, leaving a trail clearly visible as the two water types meet and commingle....

And the heavens have just opened once again and I can hear it hammering on the skylights....(and probably skylarks too...)
