The other week Jon Cruddas, Labour MP for Dagenham and Rainham, visited the reserve to talk about conservation and the environment with the RSPB's Director of Conservation Martin Harper and Paul Wilkinson from The Wildlife Trust.
They had a good meeting and then headed out onto the reserve to have a spot of wildlife watching!
