Mining Bees that is..... there are many species of these smaller relatives of the humble Bumbles and most are quite tricky to identify.

Early spring is often a good time for some of the easier species and in recent weeks we have had several types photographed and a couple more that we are working on...  Check out the Hawthorn and Apple blossom as these gingery ones are quite distinctive...
