London Butterfly Survey 2016
Time for a little project... We are participating in the London Butterfly Survey this year and have been asked to record species within the various 1km squares that cover the SSSI. To make a map easier I have rounded it up to the 20 squares around us so some are actually off site but no less important.
If on your perambulations you identify any butterflies please can you have a look at the map attached and either FB message or email me (howard.vaughan@rspb.org.uk) with the following information: 1km Grid Number, Species, Date and Number (if you counted them). Presence of a species within a 1km Grid Square is probably more important than actual counts so please do not get bogged down with separating out every Skipper or White!
