On Friday the people attending the Gull ID event were lucky enough to also see a male Hen Harrier hunting over the silt lagoons from up on the landfill. This almost gull-like predator was unfortunately too far away for me to pick it out from the centre!
It was seen again yesterday and again today and is probably best looked for from the Serin Mound viewpoint.
