It has been agood week for window watching from the centre with daily wader and wildfowl action over the marsh with clouds of swirling Starlings too, as they club together to avoid the attentions of the Marsh Harriers, Peregrines and Sparrowhawks. As ever the view changes by the hour with the panoramic landscape changing by the hour as weather fronts, cloud, rain and sunshine blow through. The vista comes and goes and the London Ciityscape can shine on minute and disappear the next...

On Tuesday the Shard was shining silver in the early morning light and a curious white blanket of of what we presume to be evapourating moisture streaming out from the opposite side with the wind taking it away and high into the sky... very curious.... and happy to have any other opinions as to what was going on...

and then there was this morning.....

It was dull and overcast but the sun was sneaking through and caught hold of the Shard and just like the two occasions when it has similarly caught Canary Wharf, it blazed into dazzling life looking like a quite real Towering Inferno...
