It is that time of year again for cutting back the vegetation and Andrew, Nicole, Dhruti and their team of volunteer strimmers have been blazing trails into the phragmites and reedmace beds either side of the Northern Trail to create passage ways that not only allow the wildlife the chance to forage around more productive edges but also allow us (and you) to see them better. Already Water Rails and Cetti's Warblers have been seen more often and the Bearded Tits are currently using this area so keep your eyes open!

You never know... we may even get a Bittern!

The woodland feeders have also been cleared and are now just waiting for me to appear in some wellies to get the party started once again. I apologise for the lack of 'what you can see' board as it was unfortunately destroyed by nocturnal visitors a couple of weeks ago....
