It cooled down a little as the day wore on yesterday and it was nice to find visitors sitting at the end of the ramp at the end of the day enjoying a young Grey Heron practice fishing in the shallows while the Redshank still protectively flew around 'doodling' just in case the heron discovered where their two almost feldged young were.

It was even more pleasing to find that the two visitors were Alison Steadman and Michael Elwyn on one of their regular visits bewteen filming, performing and doing other actory type things!
