    The path works on the boardwalk just past the Purfleet hide will continue today.

    You will not be able to do the whole walk around the reserve. There is no access between the Purfleet hide and the Marshland Discovery Zone.

     

    We will be doing some maintenance work on the boardwalk past the Purfleet hide...

     

    You will still be able to access the Purfleet hide, Marshland Discovery Zone and the exit only turnstile…

  • Welcome to another year

    I was on site by 0615 and Robin and Song Thrush did indeed welcome in my new year shortly followed by the melancholy notes of a foreshore Curlew. The various ducks were getting going on the scrape in the dark and soon the lists started to grow.  The first punters started to arrive and a blustery, cloudy day greeted us.

    It turned out to be rather a good day with plenty of visitors and lots of teams coming along to kick…
