Hi karen. Lovely photo's but unfortunately they are of female Pheasants and not Corncrakes. Still very pretty birds though. :-)

As Paul says they are pheasants.
But we are always interested in sightings of corncrakes and folk can email Orkney@rspb.org.uk to let us know.
