Guided Walks
Hobbister Coastal Walk - Wednesdays 18th May Join the RSPB Warden for a walk across the moorland and along the Scapa coast. (See your list of events for full details). Meet Hobbister Car Park 9.30 am.
Marwick's Seabird City - Wednesday 25th May See, hear and smell this seabird spectacular with the Warden at the Marwick Head Reserve. (See list of events for full details). Meet Marwick Bay Car Park 10 am.
Birsay Moors Stroll - Mondays 16th & 30 May Join the RSPB Warden on an early walk across the moorland enjoying great panoramic views of Orkney to see a variety of moorland species including skuas, hen harrier, curlew and short-eared owl. Meet Birsay Moors Viewpoint/Picnic Spot off B9057 at 9 am.
There is no charge for members on any of the above walks, while non-members pay £2 for adults, £1 for children. Enquiries to Alan Leitch (850176).
RSPB Brodgar Guided Walks - Birds for Beginners These take place on Tuesdays until 26th July. Meet at Ring of Brodgar Car Park at 10.30; Enquiries to Jenny Dewar (850176).
