Meet at the car park, TR013647 (ME13 0QD).  Large roosts of wintering waders on the pools, avocets, godwits, dunlin & plovers. In the reed beds stonechat, bearded tits and reed bunting.  Bring binoculars if you have them and a packed lunch.

Meet at the reserve car park, on Hicks Forstal Rd, TR193643 (CT3 4JS). Woodland birds including tits, treecreepers, nuthatch & woodpeckers. Afterwards to Grove Ferry for marshland birds & wildfowl  TR236631 (CT3 4BP).   Bring binoculars if you have them and a packed lunch.

GRAIN & NORTHWARD HILL RSPB

Meet at the car park at TQ886767 (ME3 0BS). Waders & ducks on the vast mud flats and in the scrubby bushes migrants such as blackcaps & chiffchaffs. Afterwards to NH to find more early songbirds. 

The North Kent Marshes are a very special area and worth preserving at all cost.
