My first ever spot of this little gent, thanks to the lovely bloke who pointed him out just the other side of the sea wall (apologies for the noise in the picture rather frustratingly I was on an incorrect manual setting!), very productive day all in all thoughwith a lovely Grey Heron doing a flypast, two very sprightly Great Spotted Woodpeckers who were nigh on impossible to photograph properly (so I photographed one badly instead !), and some wonderful buzzards who put on an amazing show including a full on fight with some crows and then burst out of the undergrowth, as well as that lots of babies too
Great set Nicky. The Linnet looks stunning in his full breeding plumage.
Was so excited John, was a gorgeous looking little chap and first spots are always kinda special especially when on your doorstep and unexpected :)
