  Paul queried the identity of the damselflies - are they common blue or variable?

  Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

  Definitely not common blue - S2 markings are wrong. Look like azure rather than variable, I think
