It's been a bit of a manic month, but I'm spending today catching up a bit, so I'll divide things up into a couple of threads to make life a bit easier.
Everything goes a little bit crazy at this time of the year, with love in the air for these Great Crested Grebes out on the Mere
Whilst we're in the reedbeds, the ever hiding Snipe are entertaining to hunt for
and of course, the Marsh Harriers love to show off their dominance of the skies
Out on the scrapes, Redshank scuttle around the islands searching for nibbles
and Black Headed Gulls practice their yoga
Greylags too are looking for something tasty to snack on
and there are still ducks around - the big numbers of winter are all gone now, but a few remain
Avocets rather steal the show however - though I've no idea what's going on here!
