A White-rumped sandpiper , see similar birds at google images. If may be there today so walk along the wetland canal side track and look out for fellow birders..

Flocks of Lapwing.
Small groups of starlings flocking (50-300) between 4 to 4.30pm on some days and bigger flocks on other days.
Kestrel in the nearby trees.
Green woodpecker near the bench by the willow screen.
Little egret moving about, Kingfisher across the pools, Goldeneye , Wigeon flying about.
Water rail calling.
Cetti's warbler calling (like a wren's short call) – someone called it the Midland bearded tit because of its "ping" call.
Other flocks
We have had flocks of Linnets Greylag goose , Cormorant, Redpoll and finally birdwatchers telescoping the rare white-rumped sandpiper .
Perhaps you might see one - just follow the scopes.
