I dont know if this is the right place to put down questions but i am looking for some information on your Long Billed Dowitcher.
I work at WWT Caerlaverock and we had a Dowitcher yesterday in summer plummage, however, it flew of to the north east as was not seen again. You however, have one on the marsh today in summer plummage. I am just interested to know if any photos of this bird are around and if so where could i see them. We never managed to get photos just field sketchs so would be nice to compare the two and see if it is the same bird.
It seems strange the we loose one and also 40+ Black Tailed Godwit and one turns up not too fair away the day later, and some Black Tailed Godwits.....
Any help would be much appriciated.
