I saw an Osprey sitting on a telegraph pole, on the side of the main road between Darlington and Northallerton last night at 6pm. I stopped the car and turned round for a closer look and it didn't fly away. I took a very poor photo due to the weather and the fact it is a busy road and not possible to stop. I had read that the Ospreys from the Lake district had returned to the nest so any ideas where this one might be from?
