Oh my, another week.   How many rosettes did Tweed win at the agility contest? Check Patriciat's late post on last week's blog to find out!  Congratulations Tweed and Patriciat!

  • Hi all - well the one or two around today and yes! Where is everyone else? Have they been abducted by aliens?

Alan: Oh what a shame; poor little creature.  I remember when my daughter was about 9 years old, she found a dead baby bird on the sidewalk outside our house. She was sad, she said, "because it never got a chance to live."  Such a short time in this lovely world.  Darn.  Thanks for letting us know.

OG: Chocolate ice cream goes down well!  How about creamy rice pud?  Thanks for the info about water depth for pigeons - didn't know anything about that or how they drink.  Do feel better; be lazy tomorrow too.

I went for a wonderful long walk along the oceanfront downtown today - was bright and very, very breezy, which made my eyes stream when I walked into the wind. Had hot chocolate at the end of Stearns Wharf and watched folks fishing and strolling, then did some other errands, then home to prepare an early dinner before I whiz off to see Legend of Pale Male. OH has opted to stay home and work on taxes; I may stay for Murder of Crows, but there's an hour of hanging about between and you have to get in line again (since it's a free showing), so not sure if I'll do that.
