Oh my, another week. How many rosettes did Tweed win at the agility contest? Check Patriciat's late post on last week's blog to find out! Congratulations Tweed and Patriciat!
Our door glass is patterned/frosted to be obscure - we are considering whether or not to fit blinds - had one in back before but that was clear glass. Need to go outside one at a time and see what we can see of the other one inside!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Lindybird Buzz is very handsome (and must be very hardy if the pic was taken recently!) When our old girl Nell was younger, she loved to compete with her labrador 'cousins' in retrieving from water - being lighter, she could jump out a greater distance before gravity took her into the water and it was a point of honour to her to get there first and bring the retrieve article back!
Alan Glad Hamish's operation is behind him. I hope all will be well and he'll soon be back to 'fighting form'.
Gary Rio looks cute in the snow - do you take him walking or does he just visit?
OG Glad your door fitting went well. You've had enough problems with with workmen to last you for a while. We have a pebbled glass door and doorscreen at the front, with no blinds. The side door (from the kitchen] has a venetian blind as it faces our neighbour's kitchen and it's a bit like being on stage when the lights are on!
Hope all the 'umwell' are feeling better. Sister is now home but won't be able to do much for a while. She's not allowed to raise her left arm above shoulder height for 6 weeks - her OH should be fully trained by then!
Patriciat, we do go for walks with the dogs but this, and previous , visits are "unathorised" lol. He is very cute and I can't send him "packing" without a good stroke.
OG, thanks for the concern, I am fine but I am struggling to keep up on here at the moment. My own fault and plan to be much better at it but hope to go through the last few pages tomorrow.
Alan, I did pick up Thunderdog had an op. So sorry to hear that and I will check back on the details:)
Annette, you noticed about all the food then.... That's why I run most days, just to try and run off my intake!! lol
Lindybird, lovely picture as always. What a contented dog:)
Hullo Everyone and Happy Wednesday!
I've got just a quick on to say hello and then off again. Been reading posts and am glad to hear Diane's news of the Baldies and Ospreys and that Thunderdog Hamish is doing well. Hope all of you are enjoying the day/night! =O)
Here's a link I think all, but Alan in particular, might like:

Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
There were some amazing pictures on the Pale Male site today. See http://www.palemale.com/fe1620ni.html
Tiger Signature
Tiger: Those pix from the palemale site could almost make me want to visit New York. Really magical. I was trying to figure out the different angles - I see a patio railing in one photo and wondering if it's the photogs...
Everyone else take care. Just about to settle in and watch the evening run through of the Olympics.
Tiger Wow! What super pictures. Like Annette, would almost make me want to go there.
Morning All. Surprised to get on here today at the 1st attempt.
The Weathergod has left a scattering of snow on the ground here overnight, but its not much, although as its very cold, its not disappearing just yet. Doesn't bother Buzz the Dog, who runs about in the garden, rain, snow or shine: he has, as some of you have said lots of energy. The photo was taken last Sunday in Tatton Park which is near here: he has been known to go in by breaking the ice!
patriciat: I often look in on the Palemale site as they are such wonderful pics. Good that your sister is now happily at home again, and busy training her OH .
Gary: Thanks for the nice pic of Rio, he looks like one happy dog, too. I would want to keep him if he visited me!
Hi everyone.Another frosty start in these parts. The sky has a very ominous look to it, but the birds are feeding and singing quite contently. Had four rooks visit just a few minutes ago. I don't think I've ever had that many visit before.Tiger: Thanks for the palemale link. Those pics are absolutely stunning. Have a wonderful Thursday everyone.Paul.
