Dyfi are going to have a nest mic this season : https://www.facebook.com/dyfiospreyproject?ref=ts&fref=ts
We must be due a tweet. How I wish I was at Dyfi right now
Lol, PATILY - she did go quiet a few times this morning, but not for this long ;-D
IMAGICAT
Good morning and what a carry on at the nest, it is like waiting for a bus for ages then they all turn up together, in this case female ospreys. Hope Monty can make the right choice and choose one who is willing to mate. Thanks to all for commentary and captures. choloholix thanks for the letter from Monty - that is hilariious. Definitely think this is the nest to watch today.
Margobird
I think we are agreed that it isn't Monty. I can't be FS because she's quiet !, Dyfi thought that White UR had moved off and the camera couldn't see a ring on the latest arrival so I think it is she.
Birdies LG DU update.
Facebook update:
10:30 PANDAMONIUM!
We've had another female turn up this morning, she is also ringed: White UR
She is a 2010 Scottish female who was actually spotted in the Gambia on Tangi beach by our colleagues Tim and John from Rutland in 2011.
No sooner had White UR turned up, Seren lands on the nest!
A fight broke out between Seren and Blue FS and at the moment it looks like Seren has won out - she is on the nest whilst Monty figures out what to do with the other two.
Poor Monty, he spends two whole weeks on his lonesome and now he has three females all wanting him. Never seen anything like it. Who said it was going to be an interesting week?
New Facebook and it's Seren !!.www.facebook.com/dyfiospreyproject
Just hope FS despite her grim screeching, is ok, I'd hate to see any of them get an injury that stops them being able to fish or fly. I wonder if the one on the nest is Seren back again? Dyfi Fb just stated Seren it is.
OH dear. Seren is not reliable either.
And there we all were worrying about poor lonely Monty LOL
I wondered if it was Seren but couldn't remember what her distinguishing features were/are
