EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
We should have a second egg in the next day or so. It would be so wonderful if she laid it while we're there tomorrow.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
I hadn't checked Rutland for days, having been busy being tortured by EJ, so was pleased to see the nest looking eggy this morning and now I see you're expecting a second very soon :-)
IMAGICAT
Hi, Scylla - they usually lay eggs about 2 or 3 days apart, don't they? I'm only really used to EJ.
Looks nice at Rutland CLARE Hope it stays like that for you all Have a good time
It's supposed to stay dry for a good amount of the day. I hope so, anyway!
Change over time and still only one egg.

Birdies LG DU update.
Good morning all and thanks for chat and captures, brilliant quality from this cam. Nice to see things are normal in this nest anyway.

The latest shots seem to show that there is almost an 'inner ring' being formed in the centre of the nest?. Any one else think so?.
Hi everyone:-)
Have been looking in over the last hour or so and it's lovely to see 5R joining Mrs and swapping over regularly. I didn't catch any egg turning, but have seen Mrs scraping next to the egg, as if she's making space for another (may be wrong) a few times.
Mike I think I know what you mean with the 'inner ring'. It will be interesting to see if this deepens.
