Blue DF and my latest photos

Thanks for posting the links to some of the osprey photos I have taken, I put the link to my latest Osprey pics below. Blue DF was a regular at Rotheimurchus fishery and other local lochs this summer. There were probably as many un-ringed as ringed Ospreys fishing this year. The different birds behave differently and close up can be seen to be different. Regards Mike

  • Well of course there are some fabulous cameras/lenses around these days. Plus added photographic opportunities in the form of hired out time-slots in hides situated in prime locations where the birds are known to fish.

I am by no means detracting from the skill of the photographers of course, just pointing out some of the advantages that are available today.

So true, Chloe. In a good place even a beginner can get tolerable photos with a "non-professional" gear :)))))

Great Tiger, nice to see them all gathered together in one post.    Never tire of looking at Osprey photos.  :-)

Well Blue DF seems to be a favourite with the photographers.
