This Topic has been set up to follow the Autumn 2012 migration and wintering of satellite tracked ospreys, other than Caledonia and Alba from Loch Garten, who are followed on this thread, Tracking Caledonia & Alba
This topic replaces Satellite Tracked Ospreys (non-LG) Mar-Aug 2012
N.B. There are still some missing details (and possibly birds) which I will add once the information becomes available.
The Estonia/Latvia tracking map shows Erika migrating, probably since 1st March. Latest point near Aswan, on the Nile.
Piret (pale pink) and Ilmar still at their wintering sites.
That's interesting Sue as they thought Erika s transmitter had a problem.

Alan - They have now said that they are only getting non-GPS signals from it - so the position isn't that accurate, but she is migrating. Now closer to her regular stopover in the Nile Delta.
Blue YD, after a week on the coast, has gone back to his patch on the Senegal river near Doue (this is from Google Earth - there is no SWT blog as yet).
Thanks SueC : BlueYD latest fixes near the Senegal river :
Ilmari not left on migration yet as at 18:00 on 03.03.2013. :
Thanks Alan - Blud YD is all over the place - hope he finds a place to his liking shortly
