This is a celebration of life, for all of your fond memories - whether 'missing in action' or otherwise. I'm starting this off with my very special favorite, little 'Bravery' (chick 3 LG nest 2012).
Here he is, deciding to abandon nestoration to take a good look at his domain.......
Patily has reminded me of this thread and it seems appropriate to promote it now.

Patily, thankyou for your lovely tribute to the dear Nora. Im so sad that she did not return and was looking forward to their return. She was a wonderful mother. I remember when she left last year and Monty started to bring in the horrible looking flat fish for Ceulan. I think Nora didnt like them! I always think os Sandra when talking of Dyfi and Ceulan, just read her posts again. What a sad thread is this.

When her dog died last year, somebody quoted "Grief is the price we pay for love "........beautiful and true
Thank you Patily for putting Nora's story up. I had been thinking of it myself and got distracted several times! Like you, I have often thought of her and wonder where she is now. I will think of her as 'missing in action' for now as there is no firm evidence to suggest otherwise, and am glad Tiger has put a link here, as I was going to move your post to here but don't know how and was going to ask. No need now.
Tiger thanks for linking up Nora's thread here. It may have got lost, being in isolation, and on here we can keep track of all birds together. After all, there is still a glimmer of hope that some will turn up 'from the dead' due to transmitter failures etc. and who knows, maybe one day Nora's ring will be spotted in another area.
NORA - will always be remembered fondly by many, she crept her way into my heart along with so many others, she was a BEAUTIFUL OSPREY and very special Mum, and I did this in her Memory, we will never know when, where or even if she perished, but her Memory lives ON.

Mary GK That is a great montage.
Thanks Tiger.... :-)
Mary a beautiful collection and yes, she lives on in our memories. I'm glad she's ringed, as there's a little chance that if she has survived she may be spotted one day.
Well done Mary. Nice touch.
Birdies LG DU update.
