This is a celebration of life, for all of your fond memories - whether 'missing in action' or otherwise. I'm starting this off with my very special favorite, little 'Bravery' (chick 3 LG nest 2012).
Here he is, deciding to abandon nestoration to take a good look at his domain.......
May I add wonderful DESHAR who broke all our hearts in 2008 by flying off into the Atlantic? I don't have a picture, but he will never be forgotten. My first Osprey broken heart.
Please some-one add a pic of "Bynack the Bold"
Everyone expects me to post it but also a lot are fond of him, so I have not posted.
mims I am glad those video's cheered you up as they are funny and the "No-named 2010" Ospreys should be remembered also :)
Thanks SANDRA for those pics of Lady's chicks, I think they are adorable... I didn't know how to take pics then and used to try and video them all on my little camera but the stream used to only last a couple of seconds and I missed so much that year.
My memorable moment was when I was watching LG nest last year when Bynack as a tiny chick flipped on his back and took ages to right himself.. I was beside myself in panic mode wishing with all my might for him to find the strength to turn himself the right way which wasn't helped by Tore leaning on him.

Sandra thank you and "Greedy" I remember well. I wonder how they are also :)

Here is a picture of Deshar from here
This is what Deshar's flight would have looked like if he took the correct route.
Tiger Signature
I too will never forget Deshar,Tiger thank you for posting his pic.
Desher was my first Osprey that I loved to bits, the first year I watched Osprey's. I, like everyone else, was devastated when he lost his battle flying over the Atlantic. I was willing him with all my soul to turn right to go East!!
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)

Here is Bynack the Bold.. :)
The one right at the bottom of the deck with everyone except EJ
Orange VS
Interestingly Orange VS had his ring on his right leg. I never really noticed until now. I just used to groan when I saw the orange ring.
Ah yes, a very handsome Deshar on his stopover in Kent - thank you Tiger. That flight distance is quite outstanding when you view its length down the 'correct' route!
