Sat track schedule Spring 2014
LG 7 days; RW & SWT nil; LDOP varies
Tempo In 2004 there was a suggestion that the young and weakish 5R migrated with his dad. It was only a suggestion but 5R came back a magnifiucent osprey.
5R(04) and his father, 03(97), were seen flying above the nest today but did not return after that. This young male is still very dependent on his father and it seems quite possible that the two began their migration together.
Who knows they may still do! Another tracking experiment?
Tiger Signature
Blue 44: awaiting reply from France.
Blue YD fishing and eating perched by large lake inland in Morocco. Still in developed area, there is a road on the map.
Blue 44 is in the area where Xalbai (the brilliant photographer) took pictures of Mallachie.
JSB Is this the last position you got for Blue 44?
A slight scare going on over on Bird Forum
Hi tiger, swt have points only upto 19th on their site, but I think they had problems plotting last week, this may be the reason if that is where the person on bird forum is looking. No ability to check GE but presumably it is up to date. As much as swt tracking page says 19th their blogs are stating at 23 rd he was fine and it was after 19th that he was spotted by Stephanie I think.

The thing is that I am seeing points up to 23rd September on both Google Earth and the SWP Google map.
I thought you had entered radio silence?
Why the scare I wonder? He appears to be moving around as he should. There are points up to yesterday on GE. Click for bigger image.

Blue 44 looks perfectly fine to me. Last point was yesterday when he was flying at a height of 16 metres.
Brilliant news: Blue 44 has been photographed in france by ranger colleagues! Thankyou to Paul and Stephanie in France
