faune.aquitaine
Thanks JSB, I used have that in my favs lastyear but I must have deleted it.
jsb said: The faune websites used to be in about three or four languages. I am logged on via Firefox, so I went in with IE as anonymous, but it came up in French also. Alan: has his language setting in preference as English?. Maybe Noisette can advise what has changed if anything. EDIT: The language setting in 'my preferences' offer two options, French or Latin....no kidding. (Latin names for the species I suppose)

Blue YD near Agadir
Blue 44 at Etang Noir
It looks like Blue 44 is going to have a windy night, 'vigilance orange' for the Atlantique coast from Spain up to La Rochelle, heavy rain, thunderstorms & wind up to 100km/hr. Generally they give out too many warnings in case they get caught out, but you never know. We've upturned the picnic tables & put all the watering cans & buckets & all other movable goods away. We do have & a bit of laugh to ourselves because the sponsor of the weather on France 3 is a cheese called 'Fauquet' which is almost exactly what we think with a weather forecast like this!

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
