Sat track schedule Spring 2014
LG 7 days; RW & SWT nil; LDOP varies
Hi Chloe, did you see the guy going on about his bicycle tyre on my pond query? I would have loved to have some update on Stan, but no.
Yes I did see that jsb. Not sure what a dry bycycle tyre had to do with a wet pond liner but hey ho :) Still the marks do look a little similar don't they?
An update on Stan would be very welcome indeed!

I saw the Osprey slot on faune-charente-maritime last night, it's great that the locals here get to follow the exploits of the tracked birds. Thanks so much for all your hard work. Thanks also to Philippe Jourde for all his efforts too!
Best wishes

Ceulan update: There is now speculation that he may be about to move, but where? Probably, further south is the guess. He doesn't even know, they are still talking about him in Wales, in the Sunday papers!
Correction: on the spreadsheet, the date should 22nd, not 23rd as stated/
Wish I could read French.

Birdies LG DU update.
Sandra: Here you are....
Ospreys in the British Isles are carefully studied by naturalists during their migratory journey to Africa. Some birds are equipped by ballises satellite and can also be followed by the general public. You can share the adventures of these raptors on the following links:Loch Garten Ospreys (RSPB #: Alba and Caledonia;)Scottish Wildlife Trust: Blue 44 and Blue YD;Highland Foundation for Wildlife: Beatrice, Morven, Red - 8T and Rothiemurchus.Dofy Osprey Project #Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust #: Ceulan and Einion. All these satellite tracking highlight the importance of the Charente-Maritime area transit or migration step for the species. Recently, a control's ring was used to identify a bird belonging to Germany. Scandinavian Ospreys were also observed more formerly in the Department. The map takes stock of observations made since this summer. The faune websites used to be in about three or four languages. I am logged on via Firefox, so I went in with IE as anonymous, but it came up in French also. Alan: has his language setting in preference as English?. Maybe Noisette can advise what has changed if anything.
EDIT: The language setting in 'my preferences' offer two options, French or Latin....no kidding. (Latin names for the species I suppose)
I surprised myself by understanding most of it but doing something else this morning I noticed that by right clicking one option was to translate in bing. I tried it and it works
