How many of us are torn between dread and hope for the new day to come?
The peace and quiet of the LG nest is punctuated solely by unalarming chick noises. Long may that last.

Hopefully EJ will have a decent amount of fish left for herself, as Odin's tiddlers usually ended up mostly in the crops of #1 and #2
I was just asking because of hygine reasons RtB. I know that small birds will quickly remove dead chicks if they are very young to prevent disease setting in. Older dead passerine chick can present a problem.
On a much happier note it does indeed seem that EJ's latest catch started life in a dry dock somewhere :-)
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.

EJ callling, Odin arrives!
14.30 FISH!!! From Odin.
Has he brought a fish? EJ has something in her talons, but she is still calling....
Odin with FISH @ 1430hr !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (was in kitchen, exact details to follow)
Odin has left the building. Here he was about a minute ago, staring through the guano
It sounded like a fish going by EJ's reaction. Really hard to tell through the mist though.
