I have always felt that we should have a thread for EJ as well as Odin.
My countdown clock says that we might expect her to swoop into Loch Garten 76 days from now. I hjope it has warmed up by then.
Tiger Signature
Lindybird that was in 2009, the year Rothes hatched, but with so many experts here I thought maybe some one would recognize the markings on the intruder. Because EJ did land with the intruder on the nest I wondered if it was an offspring from a previous year.
I think the chick that landed after the intruder stole the fish was Garten . It did not have a tag. Another mystery never to be solved :)
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
Well worth a look, though. And a reminder that we enjoyed somewhat better video quality this year, for the most part. Thank you, RSPB, let's go for HD next season and a buzz-proof mike ;-) (Runs and hides!)
IMAGICAT
The 4th August 2009 seems to have had lots of intruders. It might be an idea to try and match up the posts of the day with the event on the video.
White TF was a frequent intruder at this time.
I am interested in the date EJ returned last year and posting on EJ as she always returns before Odin. Curious to the date and if she was early or late. I will keep records next year.
Last year I have learnt so much and thank you all.
I am looking forward to March and remember the day Odin arrived last year.
ChloeB's site has all the details you will need B&B.

If you click onto each year the 1st entry will be EJ turning up at the nest I think.
A very old Shropshire Lad.
Thank you Chris and ChloeB.
A fantastic spread sheet and EJ on time every year except a day out and probably this year as a leap yr. Brilliant spreadsheet ChloeB
It's amazing B&B... She shows up pretty much on the same day every year.. Long may that continue.
that is a great site ChloeB has going, lots of information
All for one and one for all.
EJ was a bit late in 2007 when she arrived on 4th April. That was the traumatic second edition of scrambled eggs!
Tiger thanks and still racking my brains the year I visited LG. May sound silly but that day made me come back to EJ :)
