I have always felt that we should have a thread for EJ as well as Odin.
My countdown clock says that we might expect her to swoop into Loch Garten 76 days from now. I hjope it has warmed up by then.

A person only needs to see EJ bolt, from a sitting position, off the nest to chase an intruder to know she is a powerful bird .
Yesterday an intruder came by. EJ made a couple of alarm calls and then realized Odin was not in the area. So she took off after the encroaching bird and chased it away in record time . Odin returned a few minutes later with a fish

Prmoting this thread for the new people who may not be aware of it.
Tiger, she has such stoicism. How many of us would continue, uncomplaining, to nurse our own offspring underneath ourselves throughout these protracted bouts of rain, wind and not at all warm weather? We had a few days holiday like that once; and I'm certain that although I am quite patient, I'm nowhere near as patient as EJ.
