It is the beginning of the osprey season and as always some posters are still missing in action.
What posters are missing that you particularly enjoy hearing from?
One of my favs is Robert The Bruce.

Isn't NoRing from Bassenthwaite also MIA?
It's true that NoRing has yet to turn up, but Alan Petrie's latest post tells of several ospreys still making their way north, so hopefully he will be among them.
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
This has been the top day so far for sightings so hopefully the missing ones are amongst them.
While not exactly missing as he has a tag and we know he is still in W Africa, I felt that Rothiemurchus would have been at least en route back to UK by now. He was late starting last year for his first return migration as a 2 year old, but after his comprehensive UK tour in July/August 2011, he seemed likely to be making a major effort to get his first nest (and mate) in place this year.

You are right. You might expect Rotiemurchus to be on his way back by now.
I notice that JSB is not around these days. I hope that he is OK.
Me too, Tiger. He seems such a sensible person, and we know he was very sick last winter ...
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Yes, me too.
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
I know he was planning a trip to France to the Rhone/Alps region but not sure when he was going there.
In case anyone missed jsb's comment, he posted in the "Other nests" thread on Friday night, here
He is in France and may only be logging in occasionally.
