It is the beginning of the osprey season and as always some posters are still missing in action.
What posters are missing that you particularly enjoy hearing from?
One of my favs is Robert The Bruce.

Fear not, I am still in France and not due to return until next week. I have some news, which I shall post shortly. I can confirm that Rothes has not been seen this year at the Sturgeon Farm. Also I am realising just how big France really is, since some of my planned trips are taking longer than expected. A bientot.

I notice that three long term regulars have not been around viz. Sandy, DJoanS and Rach. Hope you are ok.
I see that DJoanS has not been on the threads since the 10th June last: I knew she had been absent but did not realise that it had been so long: Hope she is OK.
I've also noticed that Barbara from the US has been missing. She was here when I went on holiday in early June, but I can't remember seeing her since :o(

Yes but she decided to leave when chick 3 was killed and at least one other poster did the same.
Ah, I see. What a shame. She is a lovely person to chat to in the wee small hours when everyone else (in the UK) were sleeping. I hope that she returns next year.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Hi folks .... I noticed this thread ... and realised I had been missed ... I'm touched that you noticed! Various reasons but mainly 'life' getting in the way of what used to be my usual routine :-) Hopefully things will be more 'normal' in a couple of weeks!!

Of course you are missed. You have been a regular poster here since the beginning. Glad to know that you are fine.
Joan: Of course you have been missed! - but we quite understand that Life gets in the way often, and finding time to come on here is difficult when other things naturally have to take priority. Glad, as Tiger says, that you are fine and look forward to your joining us again later.
