See that Annette has been too busy perhaps, to start a new week, so I'm doing the honours. Rather wet in this part of the world this morning, so doing lots of tidying & Christmas preparing stuff.
Thanks DjoanS and Margobird. That is a little early for the dafs Margobird, I would think...
Lindybird, thanks for your lovely photo. That does brighten up the day. Seems a LONG time ago now! That shep" pie does sound nice. We put a bit of cheese on the top of the mashed pots just to add in the calories!! I haven't done beetroot with it but sounds scrummy. Good luck with the "manly" handling of the carpet cleaner:)

The internet is a wonderful thing - I just searched for it!!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Gary, what a beautiful picture. Sitting ouy further into the Atlantic even than OG, we tend to get wet wether rather than snow - and mud is definitely not pretty!
Nice picture of the trees in the snow Gary.
The Ecuadorian cloud forest webcam is back online now. It was down earlier.
Pouring with rain now here on TI. Where does it all come from?
Hi everyone
love the photos , whether it be snowy trees, tulips or Nell. She looks wonderful for 14 1/2. Will send Dillon and advent to add to the collection
Lindybird. beetroot is a great veg. I know it isn't a salad time of year but it is great mixed with melon and soured cream. It sounds odd but tastes delicious.
Annette. yup, i remember the toucan/guiness advert
Just came on & there was your lovely Dillon! He looks so happy- but how do you get him not to eat the whole thing??!!
to continue Diane our weather saying is "4 seasons in 24 hours" anyway today we just had one season and it was a nice winters day, so we took Dillon for a walk by the Caledonian Canal, and on the way home we ordered our new fire surround and fire. We then had a delicious lunch at Cawdor Tavern (Cawdor as in Macbeth) in front of a roaring fire. Luxury!!!
Lindybird. the calender is usually kept on top of a Dillon proof fridge
Our Buzz wouldn't even sit long enough for the picture to be taken!! it would all be gone!!
