Starting things off this week with a reminder to check the last of the posts for the week of the 15th so you don't miss any of the excellent information being shared. I hope this week we'll have check-ins from Cirrus, George G and some others who have been quiet but to whom I'm sure we all send our good wishes.
Happy Sunday Everyone!
Happy Thanksgiving Caerann:)
Same from me, too - Happy Thanksgiving to All in US of A! - & have a good holiday with your sister, Caerann!
Gary: Reminds me of Woody Woodpecker cartoons, used to love those! Hope your house is not entirely made of wood, or you might be in trouble!
Alan: Thanks for the cheerful photo on such a dreary day - 'dreich' sounds like a good description, to me.
Dog managed to get a thorn in his foot this morning, which Husband carefully removed, then he started to limp on the other front leg: has a small cut just above the foot which he is licking, so hope Nature kicks in as have read that this is nature's antiseptic. Have to keep an eye on it. There have been large numbers of Canada Geese gathering on fields nearby to us, quite a sight. (Too wet for me to go out to photo)

lindybird Poor Buzz has been in the wars, and as for bathing in green slime not a good idea though he probably thought he smelt wonderful. I remember Harvey paddling in liquid manure and looking most put out when I hosed him down.
Wonderful photo Alan.Your cotoneaster has many more berries than ours though we only planted it this year so it is early days.
Feel sorry for everyone with iffy workmen. We know a great team consisting of plumbers, joiner, tiler, sparky and decorator who we rely on for any work we need doing. they will be back with us in the new year when we have a bathroom floor tiled and a makeover on the living room. We are having the ceiling and lighting replaced, a new fire surround and fire and complete re decoration also query a new carpet.
Annette, I agree Monty Python is definitely LOL. Nowadays it seems to be programmes like "Little Britain" (wonder if you get it in the states) that win all the awards and I think there must be something wrong with me as I do not find it even remotely funny.
Love the thought of Auntie whizzing around in Ziggy. I used to be a big Bowie fan.
Xmas cards nearly all written and most pressies wrapped. Will be delivering to relatives in the central belt within the next week or so. Dillon is looking forward to his advent calendar going up -daft or what.
Patriciat. Look forward to seeing photos of your dogs. Yes we are lucky to live here. Dave used to be in the RAF so we have lived as far south as Bucks an as far north as Shetland, but he had a tour at Lossiemouth in 83/84nand I always wanted to return to the Moray. We have now been here 14 years and i still sometimes can't believe my luck.

Did anyone see the hummingbird chicks being fed? Fantastic!! What a beautiful bird.
FAB
Yes thanks alan. Wonderful webcam footage of mum feeding chicks. Do i remember Annette saying she had a hummingbird feeder in her garden? Meant to query it at the time and ask what she put in it and how often it was visited
Margobird, I'm a bit of a dumdum about a lot of the techie stuff - don't know how to post pictures!
