Starting things off this week with a reminder to check the last of the posts for the week of the 15th so you don't miss any of the excellent information being shared. I hope this week we'll have check-ins from Cirrus, George G and some others who have been quiet but to whom I'm sure we all send our good wishes.
Happy Sunday Everyone!

The two-platform station, linked by a footbridge, will have lighting, a waiting room and a gravel car park, and will be built and ready for its first passengers by the weekend.
Robin Gisby, Network Rail operations and customer services director, said: "We have a wealth of experience and engineering expertise that we felt should be put at the disposal of the Cumbrian authorities.
"Our people will work round the clock on this project."

just listening to a wood pecker trying to get in the house! Need to make sure he doesn't try and set up home, in my home!
what a great idea JSB, thanks for the link. Hope they get it up and running.
Amidst all the gloom I took this picture in the garden today. It shows Winter Flowering Jasmine amongst the Cotoneaster berries.
More news and pictures from Cumbria. See the picture gallery for five geese wondering what's going on in the middle of the High Street in Cockermouth. (In the middle of the sequence)

Apologies, if the page content has changed, it seems to be being constantly updated.
Great pictture Alan just what we need a splash of colour on a dull day. Just started to rain here and still very windy.

Thanks for that lindybird donation will be on its way. Watched the news at lunchtime and could have cried when they were interviewing some of the people that have suffered so much.
Thanks for the splash of colour Alan
JSB, thanks for the link. I had a big "manly gulp" when I saw the pictures of those poor people carring dustbin bags full of what is left of their possesions and a happy "manly gulp" seeing the pets being reunited with their owners.
Gary know how you feel and there is nothing wrong about a "manly gulp". Just so glad they are managing to reuniite pets and their owners.
Good Morning Day!
Drizzly, miserable day here in Chicago sounds much like elsewhere. In case I don't have a chance to post again today, we'll be off in the morning and then back on Sunday so I'll wish everyone a good weekend in advance.
Alan: Thanks for the lovely photo.
Auntie: Sorry if you didn't understand me. I have a Finnish friend who was trying to help me say "Good day and how are you" to you. Well it was a good try anyway. =O)
Right then, everyone be safe and well!
