Hi all. Just got this started before zipping off to bluegrass concert. Check out the previous blog for nifty photos of alpacas from OG and more!
Diane so sorry to hear you and your Dad are still feeling pretty ill. Do take care and keep warm won't you.
Thanks for that link, I cannot do much at the moment but will spend some time viewing all the videos. The osprey one is awesome.
Margobird
Thanks Gary I am taking it very easy today. I am beginning to wonder when I am going to get back to normal. If still in a lot of pain tomorrow I will have to give in and go to the doctor which I have tried to avoid thus far.
original goldfinch I am really trying to do as little as possible. I am fed up with feeling like this. If no better tomorrow will be going to the doctor.
How nice to receive another "cheer-up" picture" of your previous garden, looks lovely.
Here is a tip for those who like to listen different kind of music. Cantus Arcticus is an orchestral composition written in 1972 by Finnish composer Einojuhani Rautavaara and with the normal instruments it includes authentic birdsong recorded near the Arctic Circle and bogs in northern Finland.

Afternoon everyone,
Thanks Diane for the link, loved the ospreys and it brought back memories of our osprey family in the summer.
Today started misty and cold but soon brightened up and was quite warm in the sunshine when Lady P and I took Thunderdog Hamish out for a walk.
Weather : Sunny Intervals , Temp 9.9c , Wind NW 8mph , Visibility 35kms , Pressure 1019hPa Rising.
Also looking forward to an update on R & M later.

Morning all
Margobird: Sounds like a doc visit is in order - sounds like you could've cracked a rib. :-(
Alan: Thanks for the eagle link.
George: Good to see you - what a pain about the fire, makes you wonder what wouldn't have happened if they hadn't seen it! :-) Good that you have reliable connections in the building trades
OG: Hope the tiler didn't have too much trouble with the tricky cuts. Do you miss your old garden? Lovely photo.
Diane: Take care! Are you under doc's care? Thanks for the video link.
Auntie: Thanks for the music tip! WIll add it to my list of things to check out.
Will check back later; take care all!
Afternoon all: Cirrus reports she has changed the settings on her page, so hopefully she will not be inundated with email alerts now. She’s taking a few days out, but will return.
George: good to see you back. They keep changing the rules for gas safety - hope you will enjoy the electric fire – we’ve done the same.
Gary: glad all is well with you after your busy day. Got the slabs – now need to timetable laying them!
Diane: hadn’t realised it was H1N1 flu – and, very sorry, I thought you had reported recovery – so sorry to hear you have it so bad, and trying to help your Dad through it too! Flowers for you both:
Thanks for the national geographic link – had a quick shuftie now, but will explore more later.
Auntie: O dear, fog going on in the afternoon and zero degrees, poor you – do take care, especially if you are working the night shift. Thanks for the music recommendation - will check out Cantus Arcticus.
Margobird: pleased to hear you are at least considering consulting the doctor at last! Hope you haven’t had a bad day today, but hope you will still visit the Doc.
Annette: tiler has removed some of the earlier guy’s work!!! Now getting on with finishing actual tile laying, and says he will grout tomorrow – so maybe we can have joiner and plumber back Wednesday!
Till later – take care all.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
NEW BLOG - GOOD NEWS
"Good News" is the sort of news we like, Alan!
Just a quick reminder (for all UK residents) that tonight's episode of Life features birds. No ospreys that I know of, but as consolation there's another chance to see the incredible vogelkop bower bird.
