Hi all. Just got this started before zipping off to bluegrass concert. Check out the previous blog for nifty photos of alpacas from OG and more!

OG. It's not us;it's them. Mine's the same!
Hi, This problem has happened before - it sorted itself out, when the thread rolled over to a new page.
OG, at the end of your post at 9.41 pm. did you copy those "receive......" messages from your personal page? Judging by the previous incident, that may have been the cause - try editing your post, removing the end and just retyping that bit.

I did try copying them and it didn't work so I typed them instead - but I will go back and edit now in case I left any hidden characters in!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
There was one stray character left from what I deleted before, and now I have got rid of it we seem to be back to normal. So it was me (not the gremlins!!) sorry!!!!

Thanks for link, Alan.
Was I glad to see your post this morning - nothing overnight, and I began to think I'd messed up the whole system with my hidden character incident last night!
Real frost and early fog this morning - now wonderful winter sunshine. Today's tiler is the different one - hope he may be a bit quicker than the other - doesn't look too pleased about the way all the difficult cuts have been left to him!!! OH now setting out to collect the paving slabs from yesterday! Heigh ho - life goes on ...
original goldfinch I quite understand how you feel and we do need to remember every day and also celebrate life and the good things. I do watch the service every year and shed many tears for all the lives lost through war. In an ideal world there would be no wars but sadly it seems that will never be.

Alan thanks for reminding me about this site, had forgotten it. I did watch daily and there was a wonderful video of the eagle being ringed. It is so good that so many people care about these wonderful birds of prey and protect them as much as possible from harm.
Cirrus sorry you fare finding it stressful at the moment. Things will sort themselves out I am sure.
I did feel a lot better on Saturday but yesterday I felt quite ill again. A lot of pain again round the rib area and found it hard to do anything much. Even cooking dinner was a trial. Today the pain has eased again so will try not to do do much as I suspect I did too much on Saturday.
Looking forward to a possible update about Rothes and Mallachie tonight.
Alan, thanks from me also ... I, like Margobird, had forgotten about this site.
Glad to see posts again ... I thought something had happened with no chat during the night from our overseas friends!
