She's been "attacked" and vigorously resisted several times, I'm a bit worried about her "big" feathers.

Yes, I've noticed a few of her 'big' feathers are loose, and she spends quite a lot of time preening. I don't think this is her mate, I hope her real mate turns up soon and fishes for her so she can get back to good condition.

Edit: I wonder if Nora did lay 4 eggs what would the chances be of all 4 surviving, does anyone know of 4 chicks fledging from any nest.

PS: Well they are "young lovers" so still very much in the honeymoon period.  The look on Nora's face says it all.
