Very interesting news. EJ laid eggs, eight days after getting together with Orange VS. We were assured at the time that it is not unusual.

Is it OK for eggs to be laid longer than 3 days apart There doesn't seem to have been news of a second egg at Dyfi and the first was last wed, the 18th ????

It is very sad that Mr NoRing has not returned, him being the 'pioneer' nester for the area, and presumably ( though not proveably) having broken with the patrophilic tendency to do so. Now it must be hoped that this new couple will be successful in fledging chicks.I am looking forward to visiting them soon. TerryM is volunteering at Dodd again, but I think she is very busy at the moment.
