Tiger Signature
Thankyou, Tiger. I am a little concerned that the two birds are close relatives, However it's good to know that ospreys are spreading out. I would have thought that the Lake District could have supported several nests, surely it has everything they require? [Apart from peace and quiet in some areas I guess.]
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
Cirrus. What happened at Two Harbors?? I have googled it two times and it crashed my comp and unable to read what has happened!! PM me if you want!
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)

Morning all.
I thought I would put these pics I captured yesterday of Nottingham Falcon chicks on this thread. Some of you may not have seen them on the other thread. :-)
These were supposed to go on the DU thread :-( RSPB will not let me delete them from here.
A pair of fish hawks nesting at Island Beach State Park have a worldwide audience for their Jersey Shore avian reality show — thanks to a volunteer project that brought a surfing electrical engineer and a social media expert together with wildlife conservationists.

News from Bassenthwaite !
Sunday April 22nd 2012
Well our hunch was right! And our electonics boffins came up trumps. There are 2 eggs in the nest - they can see them through the tiny infra-red camera hanging above (although they haven't got the soft ware installed that might give us a glimpse) Going by behaviour we think the first was laid on Monday/Tuesday and with a 2 day gap, the second on Wednesday/Thursday
also more detail about it only being 8 days since the pair got together...
