Dunedin male:
Keith Brockie managed to ring 2 broods of 2 ospreys in Perthshire today.

I was looking at his pics on Facebook last night, ALAN - "awesome" I have to say :-)
The kalakotkas chicks have just been fed, #3 got a little. It looks windless this morning, in contrast to yesterday:

The lighting is not so spectacular as sometimes, but Piret looks gorgeous nevertheless :-)

ALAN PETRIE or OTHERS - Thank you for the post on Keith ringing the broods in Perthshire. It would be fitting given the work he does in that region if he could ring Lady's chick this year after so many years of not beibg able to. I imagine if SWT are going to Tag then Roy will have to do it.
Can I ask a question some may be able to answer - Did Keith ring EJ - I do not have a record other than she was from a nest in N E Perthshire.
Nice picture, Scylla. I'm relieved to see Tiny getting fed. The oldest two are growing fast and beginning to preen. Tiny still has his baby down. Piret has just had a fly round, the chicks are sleeping.
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
Just watched a feed in Estonia, Tiny got several beakfulls and stopped begging, so I guess he must be full.
Scylla - so glad you captured that pic of weeny #3 being fed in Estonia - have been watching this from time to time - that's the chick that hatched on my birthday but I'm trying, unsuccessfully, not to become too attached!

Keith : EJ was ringed by Keith Brockie in a nest near Bridge of Cally in July 1997. Not sure what is happening about the ringing/tagging at LOTL.
