Lochter ospreys first egg video:
Great vids Scylla!
Brilliant clear camera here and it is out in the wilds, so to speak! I don't understand why LG has not got a camera like all the other webcam nests we look at, in fact, it puzzles me!!!
Surely they can afford a better quality and updated one!!! :-(
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
WOW!! Brilliant clear camera there too Alan, it looks as if it is in HD! Where is that nest?
Its at a fish farm Sandra in North East Scotland. Old Meldrum
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Sandra: the problem at LG is the local broadband connections. The equipment on the nest and as far as the centre is fine - not HD, but as we saw earlier in the season (and if you go there, on the screens at the centre itself), still quite good quality.
They can't stream at that resolution because the local (ie BT) cabling can't cope - they tried, but had to give up so that they could give us any sort of picture at all, without constantly having to reset. That is how I understand it, anyway.
Thanks Mary :-) Brilliant clear camera.
Has anyone watched this nest. I did see three eggs but I can only see two now? No reason to be only two. I have no idea how to capture so cannot post the last view of the eggs.

B&B The male is on it now
No chance of seeing eggs at the moment.
Alan, do you know who the Lochter ospreys are? Are they ringed?
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
Rach : As far as I know they are not ringed.
