HAPPY HOGMANAY - HAPPY NEW YEAR
A guid New Year to ane an` a` and mony may ye see!
LYNETTE Also enjoyed the programme about John Thaw. Thought he was great as "Morse" and as" Mr Tom" he was understated and quite brilliant. Will be watching "Endeavour" tonight and have told myself not to expect a young John Thaw! It has a very good write up so hope I am not disappointed.
PATRICIAT sorry to hear about the vertigo, quite frightening for you. Hope you manage to get help soon.
LINDYBIRD The smiles certainly made me smile. When Dillon was a pup his bed was a box made comfy with some old feather pillows and we came home one day to find them shredded and the room looking like it had been hit by a snow storm.
MARY I am often mistaken for being English!!!! My Mum is English so my accent has always been muted and the fact that my OH is English is another factor, but still!!!!! Just a couple of weeks ago someone at church asked me "Whereabouts in England do you come from?" well, Edinburgh actually.
Bob the hummer has fledged about 10 mins ago. I missed it.
lindybird those pictures are adorable and thanks for brightening up my day :)
Alan is that Phoebe's. Probably wrong but do still have the link.
Happy New Year to you all.
B&B : It is one of Phoebe's chicks that has fledged. Rose is still in the nest:

That is funny Dibnlib, oh well the Edinburgh accent is posher Ha Ha.... I dont mind that people say I sound like a Fifer, I am not sure that Stirlingshire actually has a particular accent, but I know my accent is quite broad. When we were away during the summer down at Moffat we got talking to one chap and I asked him if he was Irish, he said thats funny you should say that as other people have too, but he came from Dumfries and Galloway Ha Ha...
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Hi all, had a chill-out day again. Dau cooked us dinner so that was a nice change. Tried to catch up with programmes I have been taping over the holiday period - slowly catching up. Taped a few of Andre Rieu's programmes - he is so watchable and handsome to boot! Haven't bothered with "Endeavour" but Dibnib - hope you enjoyed it.
Lindybird - what cute pics for our Monday smiles.
Talking of being related to some distant Scottish clan I understand that my maiden name (through my uncle's searching when he was alive) is related to the Gordon Lowlanders so I have some Scottish blood in me < I think that's why I enjoyed Scottish dancing in my younger days and a lot of things Scotland!!!!!
It isn't long now to D-Day so we will all be counting down now.
What a beautiful day it has been here - clear blue skies and the sun shining, allbeit a bit on the chilly side, but it is winter. However, storms are forecast over the next 24 hours so hope you all keep dry and are not flooded out, particularly those areas that are vunerable.
Thanks for all your news have enjoyed reading it as usual.
