Good evening, Friends. Welcome to The Gabfest’s SECOND MUSIC NIGHT. This evenings theme is PERSONAL FAVORITES. It’s now GATHERING TIME. Come on in, make yourselves known, and join in the fun. Near the fire to keep warm, you will find a large pot of hot chocolate. Please help yourselves. This is special for the occasion , made from scratch with real cocoa from the on-the-can recipe but with additions. Plenty of whipping cream and spices (ginger, cinnamon & yes a touch of chipotle pepper) are incorporated into the drink, which is served in wide-mouthed cups to accommodate that big dollop of whipped cream. You’ll find the whipped cream on our snack table which this evening is over in a far corner by a window where it is cooler. The whipped cream, too, is sweet & spicy. For snacks (nibbles?) we have three bowls of potato chips (oops! CRISPS) - regular, barbeque, and salt & vinegar. With plenty of plain sour cream for dipping. As you can see this is not a diet evening. I expect our table will become more loaded & varied as we gather, as many of you will want to bring your own favorites. If not, there’s already plenty for everyone.

OOPS> What happened to Sugar.
My first choice is Carolina Moon Jim Reeves, think this is the first song I remember apart from nursery rhymes as my Dad was always singing it.
Shout me in when its my turn you know I am not technical at this.
sugar, I love that choice and lovely memories a true classic and to be honest Ihave heard it but never knew who played that lol.that. Brilliant choice
Changed as not sung EDITED LOL
I've lost control already. Sugar's selection is deleted, it's lowry's turn but she hasn't made one, so I will
For a change of pace
Rocky Top is my favorite dance tune. It is excellent for square dance (You tube Square dance to good ole Rocky Top) or clogging and I find it nearly impossible to sit still when a good version of it plays. This version is a good example of Bluegrass music.
My selection: Type: You tube Osborne Brothers Rocky Top
Lowry my grandad's favourite was Jim reeves.
Sob sob I did put my choice in June
