Hi all:
Lindybird: I responded to your post at the end of the last Weekly Chat.
george p have 2 of these recorded, just a matter of finding time to watch them. Saw a preview of the one last night about the sea eagles so really must get down to watching them now. There are so many wildlife programmes on that it is hard to keep up with the all. I am not complaining though, for me this is the best television.

patriciat welcome back and it sounds lovely so glad you had a good time. Have been watching the red squirrel on the cam at Abernethy this morning and what acrobatic little creatures they are.
Nice to see you back Maureen how on earth did you manage with no PC. Mine had to go for health check a couple of months ago and I felt as though I had lost a limb. Hope you have caught up with things and like all of us looking forward to getting an update (if time allows) later today. Wonder if Mallachie has moved on and also to see if Rothes has decided where to settle yet.
Caerann I look every day at Palemale and Lola as they are updated frequently. What brilliant photos he takes of other birds as well.

I like them - and I am not even a "horse-person" - although I think it might be somewhere in my genes - GreatGrandad worked with horses.
These two brothers, Lewis and Harris, are Percherons and they work on an organic farm near Castle Douglas, in Galloway. This was a demonstration as part of Doors Open Days, but they plough and harrow and most recently had been used to pull the potato spinner for the "tattie-howkin'".
Thanks for the info it is good to see them doing things the old fashioned way. I grew up next to a farm which had the big shires and can vaguely remember sittting on the back of one of them when I was 5. Amazing how you can remember things this long ago but with advancing years can't even remember where I have left my glasses a times.
